Let us differentiate Affiliate Marketing from Drop shipping, these are two different strategies to earn from home. There are a lot of websites which can offer you affiliate Marketing where you join the site as their partner in sharing goods through different platforms such as Facebook, Youtube and creating a website. You join a company to sell their products however, you do not change the price neither personally buying and selling the product to your customers. You earn buy getting commission from people who clicked your link and be directed to the website to buy.
Becoming an affiliate marketing doesn't mean you just share the link to facebook but you have to create a good content to persuade the customer to buy it. You can create a fan page in facebook about certain product or brand. Drop Shipping
In this type of selling assumes that you are an owner of the product from your online store but the stocks are located in other place or maybe in other country. You create an online store with the same strategy in Affiliate Marketing that you advertise and review the product persuading the customer to buy it (either by creating a facebook fan page about your store with link or creating a video and the link is in the description), and you have the freedom to increase the price of your product plus shipping fee. However, the content will be directed to your store in buying the item and you are going to relay the other to your supplier for them to ship the product to the customer. The major difference here is that when the client buys the product online either by paying you upon purchase or do a cash on delivery (Mode of payment depends on how you them up) but as the owner of your online store, you have to pay the supplier upon purchase with the shipping fee so that they can ship the product to your customer.
